Lighting Center

An online store for a lighting showroom that sells Flow, Keylight and Onlex fittings. Shoppers see a lamp's light before they buy it: a drawn room they can warm up, cool down and dim, and a light switch on product photos. Orders go out for delivery or collection, and staff use the same site at the counter and for stock checks. We designed and built it.

What we built

  • Interactive room on the homepage: drag the light colour from 2700K to 6500K, set the level and see which stocked lamps give that light
  • A light switch and dimmer on product photos, with each lamp's light worked out from the kelvin its maker lists
  • Catalogue of more than 300 products on thirteen shelves, filtered by light colour, brand and category
  • A 'Shop by where it goes' drawing, from the ceiling track to the street lamp, that lights each fitting as you point at it
  • Cart and checkout for delivery or collection from the showroom, with customer accounts
  • Staff counter mode and stock lookup in the same site
